Elizabeth Zwibel

Elizabeth Zwibel began working as “of counsel” to Swope, Rodante P.A. in 2005. Now as member of our family, she adds to our firm her own impressive record in medical malpractice, personal injury, and product liability arenas.

A graduate of Boston University (B.S. Broadcast Journalism, 1985), and George Mason University School of Law (J.D., 1988) Ms. Zwibel passed the Virginia Bar in the same year. In 2000, she moved to Florida and passed the Florida Bar.

Ms. Zwibel’s prior experience includes having her own solo practice, and being a senior attorney at Shapiro Law Group 2001-2004; and at Lytal, Reiter, Clark, Fountain, and Williams, 2001-2002. Before moving to Florida she was a defense litigator in the Washington D.C. metropolitan Area.

Professional & Community Involvement

Elizabeth Zwibel is an active member of many legal associations, including the American Bar Association, Palm Beach County Bar Association, Delta Theta Phi Legal Fraternity, Hillsborough County Bar Association, St. Petersburg County Bar Association, Manatee County Bar Association, the American Trial Lawyers Association, Tampa Bay Trial Lawyers, and the Florida Justice Association. Ms. Zwibel is also a Board member of the Ronald McDonald House of Tampa Bay.

As an active part in her community, Ms. Zwibel lectured at Law Day High School Speakers Program in Pinellas County, 2005. Ms Zwibel also enjoys being a board member and sponsor for Ronald McDonald House charities of Tampa and the Run for Kids for All Children’s Hospital in Saint Petersburg, Florida.
