Stephanie Miles

From Wampum, Pennsylvania. Stetson University College of Law (J.D., cum laude, 2005)

Stephanie Miles earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, magna
cum laude, from the University of Pittsburgh in 2002 and her
Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from Stetson University
College of Law in 2005. Ms. Miles is admitted to practice in
all Florida courts. She is admitted to the U.S. District Court
for the Middle District (2006) and the U.S. District Court for
the Southern District (2009).

Since joining Swope, Rodante, Ms. Miles carved a special
place for herself on our trial teams. As the product of a small
town, she is particularly interested in David and Goliath cases
involving the failure of large corporations to maintain proper
records or intentionally misleading consumers and
employees.

Ms. Miles earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum
laude, from the University of Pittsburgh in 2002 and her Juris
Doctor degree, cum laude, from Stetson University College of
Law in 2005.

While at Stetson College of Law, Ms. Miles served as the
Research Editor for the Stetson Law Review and received
the Outstanding Editor Award and Teamwork Award.  Ms.
Miles interned for the Honorable Jack R. St. Arnold in the
Sixth Judicial Circuit and the Honorable Elizabeth A.
Kovachevich in the Middle District of Florida.  Ms. Miles
studied in Buenos Aires, Argentina and this opportunity
helped her to earn a Certificate of Concentration in
International Law.

Even during law school, when the majority of students are
only focused on classes and exams, Ms. Miles found a way
to continue her contribution to the lives of the so-called “little
guy.” Her efforts did not go unnoticed. At graduation, Ms.
Miles received the William F. Blews Pro Bono Service Award
for her efforts on behalf of children as a Guardian Ad Litem,
which is a program she continues to volunteer for in
Hillsborough County.
