Attorney Dale Swope Slated to Speak at 2016 State Court Trial Seminar
Dale Swope, the firm’s founding partner, will be speaking at the upcoming 2016 State Court Trial Seminar on Friday June 10th at the George E. Edgecomb Courthouse located at 800 East Twiggs St, Tampa, FL 33602. The seminar will be presented by the Hillsborough County Bar Association’s Young Lawyer Division. Mr. Swope’s lecture will be focused on the topic of Closing Arguments.
A membership association with over 4,000 attorneys, judges and legal professionals, the Hillsborough County Bar Association has earned a national reputation for its outstanding programs and events. HCBA works to advocate respect for the law and the justice system through service to the legal profession and to the community. This year’s seminar will be hosted by a panel of Hillsborough local judges and some of the top attorneys in Hillsborough County. The Young Lawyers Division offers the State Court Trial annually to provide attendees with the opportunity to receive advice from some of the best attorneys in the area along with judges’ comments on effective trial techniques and strategies. This year’s seminar will feature seven topics including trial preparation, jury selection, opening statement, direct and cross examination, closing argument, judicial perspective, and adjourn.
