Stephanie Miles
Since joining Swope, Rodante P.A. in 2005, partner Stephanie Miles carved a special place for herself on our trial teams. As the product of a small town, she is particularly interested in David and Goliath cases involving the failure of large corporations to maintain proper records or intentionally misleading consumers and employees.
Ms. Miles earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Pittsburgh in 2002 and her Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from Stetson University College of Law in 2005. Ms. Miles is admitted to practice in all Florida courts, the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida (2006) and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida (2009).
While at Stetson College of Law, Ms. Miles served as the Research Editor for the Stetson Law Review. Ms. Miles interned for the Honorable Jack R. St. Arnold in the Sixth Judicial Circuit and the Honorable Elizabeth A. Kovachevich in the Middle District of Florida. Ms. Miles also studied international law in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Even during law school, when the majority of students were only focused on classes and exams, Ms. Miles found time to contribute to the lives of the so-called “little guy”. Recognized at graduation for her efforts as a Guardian ad Litem, Ms. Miles continues to volunteer on behalf of abused, neglected or abandoned children in Hillsborough County.
