The eye is an incredible organ which transmits messages to the brain through light and allows us to perceive our surroundings through images. A vision injury occurs when eyesight is temporarily or permanently impaired or lost as a result of trauma, infection or age. Vision injuries are commonly caused by traumatic brain injuries, car accidents and surgical complications.
